We've been coming to this bowling alley for about a year now. Always have a great time. The staff are friendly and the bowling alley is always well maintained. The system registers our scores properly every time and returns our balls consistently (NOT the case at some other lanes that we've been to, like Chippers, which is a really crappy bowling alley).
I am sitting here as pleased as I can be! There are so few places that have superb customer service, but this is one of them. From the second that we walked in, Marck was extremely helpful and respectful. We had a minor issue, and he was very proactive and took care of it immediately. Other people around him were also eager to help out. Additionally, the staff made every effort to make our afternoon wonderful. My family and I will be back as often as possible.
Not family oriented at all. Our son is borderline autistic. People do not understand the problems with having an autistic child, unless they have one themselves. Other customers complained of our son being disruptive. He does get overly excited and maybe is a tad loud but that's part of what autism is. We, as parents, do our best to "pull in the reins" a bit but unless you have dealt with an autistic 6 year old, it is not an easy task because they don't really understand. It's too bad people can't see past their own selfishness and show some compassion these days.
Good fun! Prices are good and location was clean. The bar was understaffed for a Saturday night but the one woman on staff was very nice and orders were correct. Also have TVs with some games playing. Cool spot
I would have given them 5 stars, but I have two complaints with this place. First, they push the league bowling ALL the time. I don't want to join a league. I don't like to compete. I just wanna go with my friends and have a good time bowling a few games, but every time we go, the league bowling is pushed on us at least 2-3 times during our visit (when we check in, when we get a beer, and then again when we check out). Second, every time you pay for anytime with a credit card, the receipt that you have to sign has a place for a "tip" on it. I know that everybody in the universe is asking for tips now for every conceivable thing, but seriously? I'm expected to tip the girl who checked me in and assigned me a lane? If I don't tip, does that mean that I don't get a good lane next time or that I get the smelliest shoes from behind the counter? Just pay your employees properly, remove the tip section, and let me enjoy my bowling without any worries on whether I should have tipped your employee or not to make up for the lack of pay that you're not giving them.
Great bowling alley. Friendly staff, decent prices on beer. Lots of lanes. Need better food and cleaner bathrooms.
