The place was great until I had to stand in line at the register. Someone needs to train the cashiers to keep the handheld scanners pointed downward because they do have lasers inside. That woman got me in the eyes every time she scanned something. I left there a good hour ago and am still having trouble seeing clearly.
DON'T SHOP HERE!!! I have never been in a store where people don't want to do the job they interviewed for and get paid to do more than this place. It was 8:30 in the morning and I walk up to the checkout line. No one is at the register. I sit my arm full of stuff down and start looking around. Two employees were standing about 10 yards away talking to each other. After a minute of completely ignoring the fact that now three people are in the checkout line the guy finally looks over and sees us and what does he do? You guessed it, turned around and ran and hid in the back instead of coming and ringing up customers. The female employee followed him to the back and left us standing there without any help for 5 minutes at least before I started yelling at an attempt to get anybody's attention in the store. He sends the girl out from the back who tells me that she's not on the clock so she can't help. Why would you even bother sending her out there to me if she isn't working and cannot ring me up?? I asked her about the guy that saw me there and ignored us and her response was it's not his job to ring me up. I said obviously the person who is supposed to be doing it isn't here so why wouldn't he take it upon himself to help? She tells me he can't do that that's not what he does. After spending a couple of minutes explaining to me why this guy can't help me (add it on to the five minutes I stood there before ever being helped and we are almost at 10 minutes) that exact guy finally comes over to help. The SAME guy she told me wasn't able to help. Instead of apologizing for making me wait almost 10 minutes he starts complaining about having to do two jobs. I told him I would help him out and just not buy my stuff if it made him feel better so he didn't have to do the job. Well, you should have seen his face light up with excitement at the idea of not having to do what he is paid to do. He looked at me and happily said that was fine with him. I had almost $200 worth of stuff I was buying that I gladly left there. I went down the road and purchased it so that poor guy didn't have to do two jobs for 30 seconds. I'm in there 2 to 3 times a week. I'll Never be back.
I go out of my way to shop at this store. The people are friendly and informative. They will always ask if they can help. The store is clean. The baskets always in there proper places. I wish there was someone with the birds at all times. I was there one day when a guy was feeding them. The Bird on the end cap was vocal. I had a "conversation " with that bird thanks to the guy feeding him. I was totally in love with that bird because of that worker! I have 4 dogs and a box turtle. I don't think the bird would enjoy my collie as she barks all the time. Thats the only reason I didn't buy the birdie!
Got my cat groomed here. Staff is boring, rude, and acts like they have no idea what they are doing. Cat was COVERED in loose hair and didn't seem very clean! This is the McDonalds of pet grooming. Go elsewhere or do it your self!!!!
My dog named Angel was accused of biting a groomer. My dog has never bitten anyone ever. She is a sweety and good dog. The groomer is a liar.
If you see a grown man working with the haircut of a second grader and the masculinity of a 4 year old girl having an imaginary tea party, do not expect him to help a paying customer. "That's not his job"
