I would give 0 stars if I could!!! It seems that I had a similar experience to other reviewers' - I called Bicycle Village to request a quote on a very specific service, and was told I could be fit in within 3-4 days if I brought the bike in that evening, which I did. I rode my bike from my house to their shop and was told by another employee that they could not service my bike for 4 WEEKS. So I called first and was told 3-4 days by one employee, came in as planned and was told 3-4 WEEKS by another employee. They were NOT APOLOGETIC AT ALL, and offered no recourse. The guy even made it sound like it was MY FAULT for bringing the bike in. I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS STORE MY SERVICE, EVER.
Peter was so friendly and helpful! I didn't have a clue about bike racks, and was so afraid my bike wouldn't fit in my car. Not only did he give good tips on where to find affordable racks, he also came out to my car, showed me how to take the wheels off of my bike so it would fit, and loaded it up into my trunk! Very pleased with his friendly and helpful customer service!
Drove across town to pick up a summer closeout sale bike. Called first and was told that they have the treck I was interested in on hand. When arrived another employee told me they ran out of that particular bike 2 days ago.
I love this bike shop! My fiance and I buy all of our bike from Bicycle Village, usually during the tent sale. We live near the Westminster store and this is our go to store because of the great customer service. But, the selection at the Westminster shop during the tent sale is limited and we usually end up driving down to Aurora (my only complaint!). The employee helping me out this past weekend at Westminster - Oscar - knew Aurora had a bike that would be great for me and a much better fit (size) than what Westminster had. Oscar checked the inventory for me before I drove all the way to Aurora. I drove down to Aurora and, Oscar was right, the bike he was thinking about was perfect for me!
My wife and I had been discussing buying new bikes for some time, so we were in the neighborhood and decided to stop in to look around at Bicycle Village. Kyle approached us and talked us through many different options and available features. He was not pushy at all, and he was very knowledgeable about everything on the floor. He even let us ride around the store to try out bikes! We weren't quite ready to buy just yet, so he even wrote down model numbers so we could do some price comparisons. We came back a week or so later to buy, and this time Cooper was there, who was also very helpful and accommodating. Then, following our purchase, we came back for Mechanic Monday, which is where you can speak with a bike mechanic who will answer any questions you might have about working with your bike. Wyatt was the mechanic who worked with us, and he was more than happy to answer all of our questions and show us the proper way to work on our new bikes. Bicycle Village is a great store with many types of bikes in stock as well as a bunch of very friendly and knowledgeable employees. I would highly recommend at least looking around in here if you are even considering a bike purchase.
